DISK STORAGE
The disk space allocated for you on the server
to keep your web pages, e-mails and other files.
EMAIL ACCOUNTS
POP3 e-mail accounts can be used with any email client such
as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora and many others.
PLATFORM
Ehost runs an
Apache web server on a
Unix
platform to make your web sites visible to the web.
SUPPORT DESK
You can be assured that the utmost attention

disk storage and high-speed connectivity for your site, but few will attend to your

RAID
A RAID 1 creates an exact copy (or mirror) of a set of data on
two or more disks. In the event of single disk failure, no
loss of data will be experienced.

Website statistics available for most visited pages, number
of visitors per day/week, error pages and much more.
BANDWIDTH
To put simply, bandwidth is the amount of traffic that is
allowed to occur between your web site and the rest of the
internet.
This includes when a visitor browses your site, download a file
from your website or sends you email.

Our customers have a choice to host their website either
overseas or in South Africa.

Africa:
- Faster browsing,
accessing speed for South Africans but slower for
international users.
- You can use a local
only DSL account.
- Bandwidth is much more
expensive than overseas. We charge R0.04 per/MB if
you use more than the allocated bandwidth limit. If
your account has reached the limit, you will
automatically be upgraded to a bigger hosting plan.
If your account use more than 5GB bandwidth per
month, we will then move your account to our
international servers.
- Recommended if your target market is South Africans
and your website does not use excessive amounts of
bandwidth.

- Slightly slower speed
for South Africans. Faster speeds for international
users.
- You cannot use a local
only DSL account.
- Bandwidth is much
cheaper than in South Africa that is why we are
able to offer Un-metered bandwidth.

clients and your website uses allot of bandwidth.
