Web Hosting - Autoresponders
Autoresponders reply to incoming e-mail messages automatically.
An autoresponder could be used to send "more information" to
persons who send e-mail to a specific address, such as info@yourdomain.com.
If you have ever sent an e-mail and had an automatic reply
(within five minutes), it was probably generated by an autoresponder.
To add an Autoresponder:
- Click on the
Autoresponders link in the E-Mail Management area.
- Click on the Create New
Autoresponder link.
- Enter the address of the
account that the autoresponder responds to in the
Responder Address field.
- Enter the autoresponder
message in the Responder Message field. You can not use
HTML code in this field - plain text only.
- If you want a copy of the
autoresponder message, tick "Send a CC to" and fill in a
email address where the message should be sent.
- Click on the Create
button.
